Hello, my name is Oriana Cordova Vila, and I’m 14 years old. I was born in Venezuela, and with grandparents from Cuba, I grew up speaking Spanish When I was 4 years old, my parents decided to move to the U.S., specifically to Florida, where I continued growing up and discovering who I wanted to become. I am the oldest daughter in my family, and I have a younger sister named Olivia, who is 7 years younger than me.
I would describe myself as a hardworking and dedicated person, something that is reflected through my dedication to school and my strong academic achievements. Growing up, I originally dreamed of becoming a doctor, but as I got older, I discovered my passion for storytelling and performing which lead to me ultimately switching career paths.
I have always enjoyed creative activities like drawing and writing, but acting has always been the passion that truly stood out to me.
Throughout school, I have searched for every opportunity to grow as a performer. I have auditioned for school musicals, joined Thespians, and I am also part of my high school’s Film and Broadcasting program, Theater Club, and TV Production Club, where I continue learning about both being in front of the camera and the creative process behind it.
Acting gives me a way to express myself, build confidence, and step outside of my comfort zone. It allows me to tell stories, understand different perspectives, and connect with people.
My goal in life is to become a professional actress and make acting my full-time career, while inspiring others who have dreams just like mine.
